Dust off your monocle and top hat and join us for the 2014 Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project Auction on Friday, February 7, 2014. In accordance with this year’s Monopoly theme, make sure to pass GO, collect your money, then join us for the silent and live auctions to bid on our wonderful items! This year marks the 25th year anniversary of the GPILP Auction and we are excited to celebrate it with you.
The Transitions for Women-Women’s Hearth is an organization that provides transitional living apartments, access to basic needs like showers and toothbrushes, referrals to social services, community meals, and group and educational sessions for women in the community. The Women’s Hearth runs the New Leaf Bakery, a free job training program geared towards helping women build confidence and professional skills. The Women’s Law Caucus will be hosting an event at the Women’s Hearth from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Lunch will be catered by the New Leaf Bakery and a service event will follow until approximately 3:00 p.m.
