Gonzaga University School of Law offers 4 Dual Degree programs.

JD/MBA & JD/MAcc Programs

In association with the Gonzaga University School of Business, students may study for a Juris Doctor/Master of Accountancy (MAcc), Juris Doctor/Master of Science in Taxation (MSTax), or Juris Doctor / Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. These programs prepare students for careers in demanding business and legal careers.

The JD is a 90-credit degree and the MBA is a 33-credit degree.

Dual degree students can waive a combination of 9 credit hours (for a total of 114 credits), but cannot waive more than 6 credits from either program.

The MAcc and MSTax programs are 31-credit degrees. Dual degree students can waive a combination of 9 credits (for a total of 112 credits) but cannot waive more than 6 credits from either program.

 

JD/MSW Programs

In conjunction with the School of Social Work at Eastern Washington University, students may study towards a dual Juris Doctor-Master of Social Work (JD/MSW) degree.

This dual-degree program prepares law and social-work students to practice either profession competently. Graduates will be well prepared to make significant contributions in combined areas, such as Public Benefits, Public Health, Children’s Services, Elder Law, and more.

A four-year program (three years for students with advanced standing in social work), it meets all applicable accreditation guidelines set forth by the American Bar Association and Council on Social Work Education. It will lead successful students to a JD from GU Law School, and a Master’s in Social Work from EWU.
