SOVA (Victim's Advocacy)
SOVA is the Student Organization for Victim's Advocacy
- SOVA strives to educate the GU law school community on the realities of domestic violence in Spokane and in the U.S.
- We donate time and effort to women's shelters in Spokane, as well as coordinate an after-school program with the YWCA.
- We have collections for Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as food and clothing drives throughout the school year.
Annual Activities
- Volunteering for Red Cross; Saturday, Oct. 2;
- Halloween Activity at the Martin Luther King Day Center;

SOVA/CHAD Adopt-a-Family Program: SOVA coordinates with the law school community to adopt families at the YWCA and provide them with Christmas gifts;

Our Mission
SOVA's mission is to provide service, support, and resources to women, men and child survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
