Women's Law Caucus

Mission Statement

The goal of the Women's Law Caucus is to raise awareness of the legal issues that impact individuals; to educate society about the need for change in the traditional perceptions, attitudes, and expectations about women; and to help society appreciate the diversity that women bring to the world.

• Female professor panels
• Breast cancer awareness campaign
• Sexual harassment panel discussion
• Interviewing tips for women
• Speed networking with Washington Women's Lawyers

Community activities

• Donation drive for Vanessa Behan Nursery & Women's Shelter
• Volunteer services for local women's shelters
• Purple ribbon fundraiser for local domestic violence shelter

Celebrations

• Myra Bradwell Award Ceremony
• Faculty/staff appreciation days
• Single parent scholarship awarded twice a year

Fundraisers

• Used textbook sales (fall and spring)
• Trivia night
• Custom Gonzaga t-shirts

Membership Fees

$5 annual membership fee.
