History of Heidelberg:

-
Heidelberg was founded by Fr. James Linden, S.J. in 1935.
-
This is also where the Linden Cup Competition was born.
-
Heidelberg traditionally takes place the evening after the final round of the Linden Cup Competition.
-
Heidelberg also serves as the annual shareholder meeting of the Gonzaga Student Bar Association.
-
Heidelberg is a way to celebrate the success of the year by honoring Linden Cup and all the other Moot Court competition winners and teams, including the Mai Tai Golf Tournament.
-
It is a way to express appreciation to the faculty and staff, and confer special awards honoring their contributions.
-
The newly elected Student Bar Association Board for the school year is presented.
-
It is also a long standing tradition to honor the legacy of Fr. Linden to the students of Gonzaga Law School.
