Annie Bernhard
Vice President
Annie Bernhard is 24 years old and hails from Lake Forest Park, Wash. After getting a degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, Annie made the decision to attend law school instead of taking a job in the South of France (she continues to convince herself that this was a good decision). Although Annie has loved her experience at Gonzaga, and thoroughly enjoyed living east of the mountains, she is SUPER happy to be in her third year and plans to practice transactional law after graduation at Harlowe & Falk LLP in Tacoma, WA. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, shocking her biceps in the gym, watching tv on DVD, knitting, and reading the UCC (who doesn't). If she could meet anyone dead or alive, it would be Lindsay Lohan ... for obvious reasons.

Stephanie Cotton
3L Representative
Stephanie Cotton is 27 years old and grew up in a small town with a lotta heart: Deer Lodge, Mont. At 18, she decided to go "big city" -- Spokane, Wash. -- to attend Whitworth University. From there, Stephanie decided to keep moving West and ended up in Seattle where she worked at the public defender, gaining some great experience for law school. While in Seattle her car was broken into THREE separate times and she realized that it was time she headed back East. Now in her third year at Gonzaga law (and her seventh in Spokane), Stephanie enjoys making people happy, Dinners Ready!, Desperate Housewives, running long distances, and getting lost in European cities. Next year, Stephanie hopes to work in public defense at the local or federal level.

Matt Huot
3L Representative
Matt Huot was first elected by his smart, attractive constituents to represent the 2L class, and (after cashing in on the power of incumbency) was re-elected to represent the 3L class as well. The son of a caring educator and affable local magistrate, Matt Huot was born and raised in a small city nestled among the rolling hills and pristine lakes of New Hampshire. After high school, Matt attended Georgetown University, where he studied government and worked in a coffee shop. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2005: shortly thereafter, the school celebrated his commencement by assembling a final four men's basketball team two years after he was no longer eligible to purchase student tickets. Matt is an associate editor of the law review, and the marshall for Phi Apha Delta. He interns for the Spokane County Prosecutor and Jonathan Lee, Esq. In his spare time, he enjoys the culinary arts, cinema, aviator frame sunglasses, and Seinfeld re-runs.

Perry McConnell
3L Representative
Perry McConnell attended Seattle Pacific University where he majored in Philosophy and Classics. Although he was born and raised in the Seattle area, Perry made his way to Spokane after his time at SPU to follow in his father's footsteps and go to law school. He has spent time in Georgia (the country) and all over Europe, but has the travel bug and wants to continue seeing the world -- but for now, a nice bike ride through the Spokane Valley will have to suffice. He would also like to plan romantic dates with his new wife, Emily, and sweep her off her feet.

The ultimate family man, Jefferson is married to his best friend; they have a two-year old son and a new baby on the way. He has served as class representative to the SBA during both of his years at GU. He plans on practicing construction law in Law Vegas, Nevada after graduation. Sean Nyberg
1L Representative
Sean Nyberg is awesome. He comes to us from Seattle, where he has lived his whole life. He went to the University of Washington and got his degree in Political Science. He comes from a very loving and large (size, not weight) family! Sean pretty much likes everything. He loves musical theater and dancing, but also likes to play and watch sports. His favorite holiday is Christmas and least favorite is Secretary's Day. He has no kids, no spouse, and no pets. He is here only to serve and represent his fellow 1L-ers.
