GIPLA (Intellectual Prop)

Mission Statement

The Gonzaga Intellectual Property Law Association (GIPLA) is a law-student organization helping members connect with IP practitioners in the local community, explore career opportunities, and learn about the IP field. We:

• have a student seat on the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association-Spokane
• receive reduced rates for IP CLEs
• have an internal mailing list for announcing local area IP events
• and work closely with the IP faculty of the university in organizing talks and attracting guest speakers.

Annual Activities

Fall "Meet and Greet." This is primarily organized by the Spokane Chapter of the Washington State IP Lawyers.
