Mission Statement

The purpose of the Child Advocacy Association is to promote the health, education, and welfare of children through community service projects, educational forums, and fundraising events.

General membership shall consist of interested Gonzaga University law students, faculty, and staff, as well as undergraduate students interested in studying at Gonzaga University School of Law.

Types of Activities in Fall Semester:

  • Monthly Family Event Calendars
  • Bake Sale Fund-raiser
  • Court-appointed Special Advocate Speaker
  • St. Margaret's Shelter Community Service Project
  • MLK Jr. Center Service Projects
  • Adoption Panel
  • Christmas Stockings for elementary school
  • Sweatshirt Fund-raiser

Types of Activities in Spring Semester:

  • Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Campaign
  • Reading Project at St. Aloysius Elementary
  • Easter Egg Hunt for Salvation Army
  • Transitional Housing Program

Membership Fees

Dues are $5 per member for the entire academic year.
