BYLAWS
ARTICLE I: OFFICERS
§1. Duties:
1. Officers and members may work on any projects they deem beneficial to CHAD.
§2. Specific Duties of Officers:
1. President:
The President shall be responsible for leading membership and board meetings while also representing the Child Advocacy Group at local and regional conferences. The President may elect a member to represent CHAD at these conferences.
2. Fundraising Chair:
The Fundraising Chair shall be responsible for all fundraising events for CHAD.
3. Treasurer Chair:
The Treasurer Chair is responsible for handling all CHAD monies and regularly reporting to the board and general membership.
4. Outreach Chair:
The Outreach Chair is responsible for coordinating speakers and roundtable discussions addressing issues pertinent to children.
5. Community-Service Chair:
The Community-Service Chair shall be responsible for coordinating service projects for the members of CHAD.
6. Secretary:
1. The Secretary shall maintain a current list of members.
2. The Secretary shall take the minutes of all board and membership meetings and disseminate such information to membership via e-mail or other reliable means of communication.
3. The Secretary shall handle correspondence requested by the President.
7. One-L Representatives:
The One-L representatives shall represent the ideas and expectations of the One-L class. The representatives shall also help organize activities that the club can enjoy as a club.
ARTICLE II: MEETINGS
§1. Board Meetings:
8. There shall be at least three board meetings per semester.
§2. General Membership Meetings:
9. There shall be at least three general membership meetings per semester.
ARTICLE III: DUES
10. There shall be dues in the amount of five dollars per year collected, for activities of CHAD approved by the general membership.
