Mission Statement

The purpose of the Canadian Law Caucus is to:
- Provide a forum for law students and faculty interested in Canadian law, NAFTA, US-Canada relations, and issues relating to Canada; and
- Promote diversity and multiculturalism in the spirit of a multicultural democracy.
Annual activities
- Speakers discussing US-Canada trade and border security issues
- Symposium on how to practice law in Canada with an American J.D.
- Monthly "Hockey Night in Spokane" events
Our primary goal is to provide a forum for law students interested in legal issues involving Canada and the United States, such as multi-national businesses that operate under both Canada and US law, cross-border trade, and border security. In addition, we strive to promote diversity and multiculturalism in the law school community.
