Official Law School Transcripts

Official transcripts are used to prove your attendance and graduate status (either in-progress or graduated).

You will need your official transcript if you are applying to another school, either as a transfer student or for another degree.

You may also use it to prove to a state bar association that you have earned your Juris Doctor degree.

Official transcripts are printed on special tamper-proof paper (the word “copy” appears on the document if Xeroxed) and is usually sealed with piece of tape and a special stamp, stating that they are “Unofficial if Seal is Broken.”

You should not open an official transcript if it is meant for a third party.

Official transcripts are $5 each, with additional fee for expedited requests. You may also order official transcripts in person at the Registrar’s Office.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts may be ordered via this form, e-mail, fax, or regular mail. There is no charge for up to 10 hard copies. We will process your order within 2 business days. To order via e-mail, fax, or regular mail, include this information and send it to the Registrar’s Office.

The Gonzaga University School of Law Registrar’s Office is responsible for maintaining the integrity and privacy of our law students’ academic information. Records are maintained in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

Students’ paper files are maintained for five years after graduation or last date of attendance, after which they are destroyed. Records of students enrolled at Gonzaga University School of Law are maintained by Registrar.
