More than thirteen years ago I began teaching an upper-class elective law school course on women and the law at Gonzaga University School of Law. I have since taught a variation of this course at two other law schools and as an adjunct undergraduate instructor in Gonzaga University’s political science department.

Initially, I focused on gathering appropriate teaching materials that would combine the theoretical and the practical.
