Biographical Information

Prior to joining the faculty of the Gonzaga University School of Law in 2007, Professor Kawaguchi clerked for the Idaho Supreme Court and worked as a law librarian at the University of California, Berkeley (2000-2007), University of Washington (1996 - 1999), and the University of Michigan (1992 - 1996). She volunteers with Kootenai Environmental Alliance, one of the oldest nonprofit conservation groups in Idaho; Community Roots, a community-sustained agriculture organization; and has served on free neighborhood legal services projects, and as a foster parent to shelter animals.
