Biographical Information
Chris Lynch was an adjunct teaching Intellectual Property at Gonzaga since 1991. He was appointed to the full time faculty in 2010. He teaches Intellectual Property and coaches the school’s Saul Lefkowitz National Trademark Moot Court teams. Prof. Lynch's 2010-2011 Saul Lefkowitz teams placed first and third in the Western Regional in February, 2011 at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prof. Lynch is of counsel to the Technology/Intellectual Property department at Foster Pepper, PLLC. His practice includes licensing and litigation of intellectual property matters, with a special emphasis on multi-party consortia and technical standards organizations.
Prof. Lynch has argued in federal courts in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and the District of Columbia. He is licensed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Prof. Lynch is a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, appointed by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
He speaks throughout the Northwest on intellectual property at CLEs and seminars.
