Attorney Hilary Bricken of Canna Law Group will be speaking about her practice dealing with the intersection of cannabis and intellectual property law.
Ms. Bricken has spoken at the National Marijuana Business Conference and Seattle Hempfest and works to develop intellectual property strategies for her clients, including what marks and other material to seek for trademark and copyright protection in the cannabis field.
Professor Murphy will be speaking in opposition discussing the federal tax implications that arise in this area of law.

The Elder Law Club is hosting an educational overview of dementia, including information on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease and treatments.
This information will be presented by Joel Loiacono, Executive Director of The Inland Northwest Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
