In the results for the February 2014 Washington State Bar Exam, Gonzaga University School of Law posted an 85.7% overall pass rate, the best in the state. This rate includes both first-time test takers and those repeating the bar exam, and is a full 16 percentage points above other Washington state law school totals.
“These results, once again, show that Gonzaga Law’s program and faculty provide an education that, regardless of incoming statistics, prepares students to succeed in their chosen career,” said Jane Korn, Dean of Gonzaga Law. “Combined with the Summer 2013 Exam pass rate of 91%, Gonzaga Law graduates continue to succeed in an impressive manner.”
The February 2014 Washington State Bar Exam had an average passage rate of 71%. There were 334 total candidates that took the exam, of which 14 were Gonzaga Law graduates. The 11 total first-time applicants posted a pass rate of 81.8%, while 100% of repeating applicants passed the exam. Final exam passage rates for Gonzaga Law graduates taking the exam in all states will be posted on the Bar Exam Statistics page when they are available.
