Ciao, spero che stai bene! (Hello and I hope you are well)
For the first time ever, the Department of Alumni Relations at Gonzaga Law is coordinating an overseas alumni trip! I invite you and a guest(s) to join us in Florence, Italy in April of 2014. Gonzaga University School of Law is excited to join Gonzaga University’s celebration of 50 Years of the Gonzaga-in-Florence Program, April 24th – 27th, 2014. In conjunction with the university celebrations, the law school will coordinate and host several law events, including free CLE Ethics for Gonzaga Law alums who attend. This is a great chance to not only visit the beautiful city of Florence, but complete your much needed Ethics credits along the way, all in beautiful Italy.
You can find the list of events with costs below. The free six hour CLE credits will be taught by a Gonzaga Law alumna or alumnae and will be spread out over a two-day period. We are also working on setting up some time with local Italian attorneys, or even the local bar association. More details to come later this year. In addition to the scheduled program, you can experience wine tasting, visit Florence’s historical sites including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio or the San Marco. Take part in this historical event and enjoy and celebrate Gonzaga University’s half century in Italy with your fellow Zags.
Please take the time to read our information carefully. Airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and food (other than food included in an event you have signed up for) are the responsibility of the traveler. Since you are a Gonzaga alumnus, you can take advantage of the many hotels which have been blocked and reserved at the Gonzaga rate. Additionally, you will find the menu of events and their prices to select from. You might also be interested in a pre or post add-on trip to Rome, Venice, or Lake Como.
We look forward to seeing you in Italy.
Dean and Professor of Law
