Get Outside

Something Fun for Those Rare Downtimes

Law school will keep you busy, but if you're like most students, you'll find time for recreation. If you enjoy being outside, you may find yourself falling in love with the Inland Northwest.

  • Seventy-six area lakes define our lifestyle. They range in size from miniscule to mammoth and offer endless recreational opportunities, including:
    • Family friendly beaches
    • Fishing
    • Skiing
    • Sailing
    • Camping
  • Nearby Mount Spokane (40 minutes from campus) is just the closest of several exceptional ski hills. You'll find a full list on the Eastern Washington and North Idaho pages.
  • Our downtown river adjoins our campus and runs through the heart of the city. Many stretches are ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and floating.
  • We're surrounded by national forests and state parks. Camping, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing -- all an easy drive away.
  • Golfers new to the area are always amazed by our collection of well-maintained public and private courses -- and quickly grow addicted to their modest greens fees.
