Gonzaga’s 108-acre campus lies just upstream of downtown Spokane, on the north bank of the Spokane River and as a part of the growing educational University District.
The Spokane-Coeur d’Alene Metropolitan Area has just over 600,000 people and ranks in the top 90 most populous metropolitan areas in the United States. Within just a few miles of campus, you can find arts, entertainment, concerts, restaurants, sports, and more. You can also find outdoor recreation opportunities, parks and natural spaces. The Centennial Trail, ranked by Sunset Magazine as one of the Top Trails in the West, runs right next to the Law School.
The city’s business and legal communities are large enough to provide internships for law school students, and small enough to give recent grads a foothold.
The University District
The Gonzaga Campus lies at the heart of Spokane’s growing University District. Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth University, and the Community Colleges of Spokane also have facilities here.
