• participate in oral advocacy competitions, where Gonzaga teams have consistently dominated award categories.
• build the foundational skills that will become the cornerstone of your successful legal career.
• write briefs and memos, conduct negotiations and strategy sessions, shape arguments, make your case.
• ask yourself, “Have I done the right thing on this case? Has justice been served? Have I helped anyone?”

The Gonzaga Law Curriculum

The 3-year curriculum at Gonzaga Law focuses on a broad-based legal education, grounded in a skill-based curriculum, firmly rooted in the theory and practice of law. Gonzaga was one of the first schools to implement the Experiential Learning Requirement, and our Externship and Clinic programs have developed into robust experiences that help students find jobs.

Dual Degree Programs

Through partnerships with Gonzaga University School of Business and Eastern Washington University, students at Gonzaga Law can work towards dual graduate degrees as a Juris Doctorate and Master Business Administration, Master of Accountancy, or Master in Social Work.

Global Learning

Study abroad programs create opportunities for students interested in comparative or international law to study interesting topics in incredibly beautiful and culturally significant surroundings.
