| Seattle firm awards Yousling diversity scholarship | |||
|
Yousling joined scholarship winners from Seattle University and the University of Washington at a reception in Seattle to accept his award. Yousling is a first-year student, who majored in Law Societies and Legal Theory/Sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle. He said he chose to come to Gonzaga because of the school’s reputation for quality education. Yousling said his first year of law school has taught him how to think and approach questions in an entirely new way. He is also learning about the importance of professionalism, he said. Yousling hopes to continue his commitment to diversity by “helping others realize that their dreams and hopes are only limited by their ability to envision their existence.” The firm of Stokes Lawrence actively promotes diversity awareness and has been listed as one of Washington’s Best Workplaces by the Puget Sound Business Journal and Washington CEO Magazine. |
