Copying

spacer

The library has copy rooms located adjacent to the elevators on floors 1 and 2 of the Library. The library provides copy cards to law school faculty to use with the library’s copy machines. To obtain a card, contact Lesley Lee (313-3781). Your research assistant may pick up a copy card for you if you provide permission in advance by e-mail or telephone. Alternatively, please provide your research assistant with written authorization to give to the library staff person when your assistant picks up your card.

Access for Individuals with Disabilities

The library staff is available to assist persons with disabilities to obtain access to materials and services in the library. For assistance or to make suggestions regarding access to the library, please contact staff at the Circulation or Reference Desks.

Advertising Personal Items for Sale

There are two ways to publish information about personal items you have for sale, such as books, concert tickets, and so forth:

  • Post a notice on the bulletin board located inside the Café Lawte.

  • E-mail John Weingarten with information about your items for sale. Note: The subject line of messages sent to John for distribution must start with, “FOR SALE—PLEASE FORWARD.”  John groups everyone's submissions each week and sends out a message to all law students

Library Website

The library maintains a website with useful information about the library such as staff contact information, hours, a copy of this Faculty User Guide, and links to Chester and other electronic resources.

Lost and Found

If you find lost items at the law school or in the library please bring them to the Circulation Desk. Lost items are kept at the Circulation Desk during the semester in which they are turned in. Items not claimed by the end of each semester are donated to charity or discarded.

Suggestions and Ideas for Improving Library Services

The library staff appreciates receiving faculty input and ideas for improving services. You may submit your suggestions, comments, or complaints to us by contacting Patrick Charles, Associate Director (313-3739). An online suggestion box, which allows anonymous submissions, can also be accessed through the library website.
