Printing

The law library provides 3,000 pages of free printing for each entering first year law student. Transfer students receive a prorated number of pages. After that the cost is 6¢ per page. You can monitor your print balance in the first floor computer lab by clicking on the Printing Balance icon on the desktop. On the second floor computer lab, click on the WBalance icon next to the Start button to check your print balance.

Printers are located in each of the computer labs and in the third floor copy room. They can be accessed from the lab computers or from laptops connected to the law school network.

A print freeze will be applied once a law student reaches a -300 balance. This freeze prevents the student from printing. All outstanding balances must be paid in full before the print freeze is lifted.

The library will e-mail monthly invoices to those who have depleted their free printing allotment. Payment must be made by check payable to "Gonzaga University." Checks can be placed in the drop box located behind the Circulation Desk or mailed to:

If you have problems with a print job and want to request a credit, seek assistance from the computing staff, or Patrick Charles (313-3739).

Students who are moot court team members, Gonzaga Law Review members, Gonzaga Journal of International Law members, or working as research assistants for faculty may be eligible for additional free print credits. Please contact Georgia Dunham (313-3711) to inquire about this service.

For one year following graduation you may continue to use the computer labs, the wireless network, and the library printers. Any remaining free printing will be available to you.
