Faculty Reserve

Faculty Reserve lets you make class materials, either your own or library-owned materials, available to students. Materials placed on Faculty Reserve are kept behind the Circulation Desk and circulate for two-hour in-library use only or overnight at your direction. Please route personal materials to be placed on Faculty Reserve to Cecelia McMullen. To request library materials be placed on Faculty Reserve, send a list of items with complete bibliographic information and the name of the course for which the material is needed to Cecelia McMullen (323-3728).
In-Class Presentations and Research Guides
Chastek librarians will make presentations on legal research and related topics to your classes. In the past, librarians have taught students how to use the library’s online catalog and provided Internet legal research training and bibliographic instruction in various subject areas such as administrative law, securities regulation, legislative history, tax, and international and comparative law. The librarians will also prepare bibliographic guides on specific topics. Library tours for your classes are available upon request. Please contact Patrick Charles (323-3739) to arrange for in-class presentations, tours, subject bibliographies, or research guides.
Study Rooms
Faculty advisors may reserve specific study rooms for moot court teams while preparing their briefs and other library related activities. Please contact the Circulation staff to make reservations.
Instructional Media Equipment
The library maintains a variety of instructional media equipment including: TVs, VCRs, LCD projectors, overhead projectors, and computers equipped with DVD players. First-time users must be trained prior to using the equipment. To be certain that support will be available, all requests for training or help in using the instructional media equipment must be made to Dalean Neiner (323-3795) at least one business day in advance.
Network Accounts
In order to use most of the computer-related instructional media equipment, you'll need a network account. Please contact John Weingarten (323-3775).
