Biographical Information
Former law clerk for U.S. District Court, Sioux Falls, and in private practice in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Taught as visiting professor at University of Texas, University of San Diego, and University of San Francisco schools of law. Former Treasurer, Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and chair, AALS Sections of Environmental Law and Natural Resources Law. Editor-in-Chief and contributing author to leading treatise on water law, Waters and Water Rights (Lexis/Nexis).
