If you are thinking about law school you have many great choices. Here are a few reasons to choose Gonzaga ...

Gonzaga: pronounced "gone-ZAG (as in wag)-uh"

Strong tradition: We provide an excellent legal education informed by our humanistic, Jesuit, Catholic values. We seek students who exemplify the spirit of public service that these values represent.

World-class university: We are located on the campus of Gonzaga University where law students can enjoy such campus activities as drama and theater, intramurals, and intercollegiate athletics.

Vibrant community: Spokane, and the surrounding area, offers the resources of a metropolitan area, with a relatively relaxed, family friendly lifestyle. Law students can enjoy activities such as snow skiing at one of five area ski resorts, or a night at the Spokane Symphony with friends.

Engaged faculty: Accessible and personable faculty who are committed to student success. Dedicated teachers of the law who are nationally recognized in areas including public interest law, health care law, intellectual property, business law, environmental/natural resources law, sports/entertainment law, international law, and criminal law.

Student resources: An Academic Resource Program with the goal of providing resources to ensure student success. Nationally recognized Legal Research & Writing Program. Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar's Office, Career Services, and Library staff with years of experience who will go above and beyond your expectations to serve you.

Committed alumni: Gonzaga has a strong tradition of alumni serving in a variety of settings including as federal judges, state supreme court justices, a governor, and a U.S. congressman. Finding an internship, clerkship, or employment opportunity is made much easier by connecting with active Gonzaga law alumni currently practicing in every state in the U.S.

Opportunities to serve: The University Legal Assistance Clinic is a fully-functioning law firm within the School of Law. Each semester dozens of Gonzaga law students work with real people in the Spokane area with real needs. In fact, Gonzaga believes so strongly in the commitment to public service that every law student is required to perform 30 clock hours of public service in their law school career.

Student organizations: The learning continues outside of the classroom. As a law student, you can participate in student organizations and explore areas of law and service that interest you.
