Expect Success -- We Can Help

spacer

Success in law school requires the acquisition of a specialized set of skills.

Because we want every student to succeed, we invite selected first-year students to participate in the Academic Resource Program (ARP).

Available during Fall semester, ARP helps students develop critical skills. Support takes two forms:

  • Group Sessions: In group sessions, students learn such skills as legal analysis, note taking, case briefing, case interpretation, outlining, and exam preparation.
  • Tutors: Upper-level law students serve as tutors, providing ARP students with individual instruction and guidance.

The work done in ARP is tied directly to class and exam preparation.

Applying to ARP

In assessing applications, we consider life and work experience, grade trends, and other conditions that suggest potential for success. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you feel you are a good candidate, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

To be considered: After submitting your seat deposit, send us a typed letter including your GPA, LSAT, and the factors that substantiate your need to be in the program. The letter is due by July 15.

Mail your letter to:
