ZagWeb Instructions
First Time ZagWeb User
General Instructions from Registrar
- Please read all the instructions below and follow them very carefully.
- Remember to confirm your courses before you disconnect from Zagweb.
- You will not be registered until you confirm your courses.
Web Registration Instructions (ZagWeb)
Please read all the instructions below and follow them very carefully.
- Log-on to ZagWeb
- Click on Enter Secure Area.
- Enter your ID Number(Social Security Number or Gonzaga Generated ID Number listed on your student ID card) and your Personal Identification Number(PIN). Your PIN is a separate number that was given to you when you entered Gonzaga Law School for the first time. If you have lost or misplaced your PIN, see instructions in number 4 below.
- If you have lost or misplaced your PIN, enter your SocSecNo or your Gonzaga assigned ID# and click on Forgot Pin.
- You will then have to answer the security question that you entered the first time you signed onto Zagweb.
- Once you answer the security question you will get the message, Your PIN has to be reset; please change it now.
- Your new PIN must be a six digit number.
- Enter new PIN.
- You will then be asked to re-enter your new PIN.
- You will then be told your PIN has been re-set and you will be allowed to continue.
- If you can't remember the answer to your security question, come to the Registrar's Office and we will reset your PIN for you.
- If you have NEVER signed on to zagweb before please see statement below.
- Once you are signed onto Zagweb click on Student Financial Aid.
- Click on Registration.
- If you know the CRNs of the courses for which you want to register, click on Add/drop Classes.
- If you do not know the CRNs of your courses, click on Look up Classes to Add. Courses may be searched by Subject, Course Number, Title, Instructor, Start Time, End Time or Days.
- Select courses and add to worksheet.
- After courses are selected to add, click on Submit Changes button.
- If you have printer capabilities, a schedule may be printed by selecting Student Schedule by Day and Time at the bottom of the Look-Up Classes to Add page, or via the registration menu.
- When you are finished with a Zagweb session, be sure to click the EXIT button in the upper right hand corner of your screen to make sure that any confidential information is cleared from your cache; then exit the browser normally. Using the Back button or the Menu option will not clear your cache.
- If you have any problems using Zagweb, please contact the Law School Registrar's Office.

If You Have Never Signed Onto ZagWeb Before
- If you have never logged onto Zagweb you must set up your Login Verification Security Question and Answer before you will be able to perform any functions.
- Once you have entered your User ID (social security number or Gonzaga assigned ID number) and entered your PIN, click on login.
- The Login Verification Security Question and Answer screen will pop up.
- Enter your question, i.e. your dog's name, your mother's maiden name.
- Then type in the answer to the question and click on submit.
- You should now be able to continue.
- If you have lost or misplaced your PIN and cannot login following the instructions above, come to the Registrar's Office. We can reset your PIN.

General Instructions from the Registrar
Getting Help:
- The Registrar's Office staff will be available to help you with questions and problems from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- Please do not hesitate to call if you are having problems.
- If the system does not let you in, check your Social Security Number and your Personal Identification Number(PIN) carefully to make sure you entered them correctly.
- If after two tries you still cannot access the system, inform the Registrar's Office.
Registration Holds:
- If you have a hold or holds on your registration, you will not be permitted to complete your registration until the hold has been removed by the initiating office.
- More than one office can place holds on your registration and no registration will be permitted until all holds are removed.
- Registration holds will prevent access to Zagweb for registration, course changes, and grade inquiry.
Credit Limitations:
- Zagweb will not allow you to register for more than 16 credit hours.
- Permission must be received in writing from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to register for more than 16 credit hours.
- That written permission must be presented to the Registrar's Office.
Course Restrictions:
- Some courses have prerequisites or other limitations and Zagweb may not allow you to register for those courses unless you meet the criteria.
- Zagweb will give you a message if you do not meet the course criteria and are barred from registering for the course.
