The Thomas More Scholarship Program provides significant merit scholarship aid to highly motivated students committed to public service through the practice of law.
- The Thomas More Scholarships are named in honor of the noted 16th century English lawyer, scholar, and statesman, Sir Thomas More.
- These scholarships are awarded through an open competition, without regard to financial need, to entering first-year students.
- Scholarships are for one academic year and may be renewed if the recipient satisfies all of the program requirements.

IMPORTANT: Applications for the Thomas More Scholarships are separate and in addition to the application for admission, or any financial aid application.
- To be eligible for consideration, candidates for the Thomas More Scholarships must submit the program application by March 1.
- Applicants must take the LSAT by December.
- It is strongly advised that School of Law applications be submitted no later than February 1 for priority consideration of admissions and scholarships.
