The Thomas More Scholarship Program provides significant merit scholarship aid to highly motivated students committed to public service through the practice of law.

  • The Thomas More Scholarships are named in honor of the noted 16th century English lawyer, scholar, and statesman, Sir Thomas More.
  • These scholarships are awarded through an open competition, without regard to financial need, to entering first-year students.
  • Scholarships are for one academic year and may be renewed if the recipient satisfies all of the program requirements.

Apply Now:

IMPORTANT: Applications for the Thomas More Scholarships are separate and in addition to the application for admission, or any financial aid application.

  • To be eligible for consideration, candidates for the Thomas More Scholarships must submit the program application by March 1.
  • Applicants must take the LSAT by December.
  • It is strongly advised that School of Law applications be submitted no later than February 1 for priority consideration of admissions and scholarships.
